A Look at Seabourn Cruises’ Newest Ultra Luxury Ship

Seabourn has revealed design renderings of the luxurious all-suite all-veranda accommodations on the Seabourn Encore, the line’s newest ultra-luxury ship to launch in late 2016.

The Seabourn Encore will feature modern design consistent with the line’s reputation for understated elegance.

The 40,350-GRT ship is being configured with one additional deck, expanded public areas, the ship will fit only 600 guests in 300 spacious suites, with each suite having a private veranda.

Most of the ship’s suites range from just under 300 square feet for a standard veranda suite, plus a private veranda that is up to 74 square feet, to almost 1,300 square feet for the luxurious Wintergarden suite with verandas of almost 200 square feet.

In-suite features and amenities will include a comfortable living area; queen-size bed or two twin beds; a separate living room area for enjoying expansive ocean views or in-suite dining; ample storage and walk-in closet with personal safe; a choice of pillows, and a complimentary mini-bar.

The Personal Suite Stewardess’ thoughtful, unobtrusive service will include: welcome champagne and canapes; selection of designer soaps; drawing a Pure Pampering bath; replenishing ice and bar set-up; managing laundry service needs; assisting with special requests; and personalized nightly turndown service.

Entertainment options include an interactive flat-screen TV system featuring hundreds of movies, music, shipboard programming featuring lectures and live views from the bridge, as well as a selection of broadcast network television and radio channels. In each bathroom, polished stone, hardware and mirrors will highlight a full tub, shower, double sinks, and bath products by Molton Brown.
