Antares Rocket Explodes During NASA Launch - Contrarie
An unmanned rocket meant to resupply the International Space Station exploded in the skies over Virginia Tuesday afternoon. The rocket was launched from the NASA Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia and was full of 5,000 pounds of cargo. In the cargo was food, tools, parts, and various science experiments. Orbital Sciences which is a private contractor hired by NASA to haul supplies to the ISS released a statement here: http://www.orbital.com/NewsInfo/MissionUpdates/Orb-3/ There appears to be nobody injured although there seems to have been damage done to the facility.
