BMW Announces M4 DTM Champion Edition in Honor of Marco Wittmann

BMW recently announced a limited edition BMW M4  called the DTM Champion Edition.

After the German Touring Car Championship (DTM) season finale at the Hockenheimring, BMW announced a run of M4s to recognize the success of their 24 year old driver Marco Wittmann. To honor Wittmann’s clinching of the DTM championship for BMW, the limited edition BMW M4 DTM Championship Edition, will carry a motorsports livery and the number 23 on the side of the car.

The limited edition car will be produced only in Alpine White to match the livery of Wittmann’s winning race car, with orange kidney grills and a matte-black hood and trunklid with colored stripes similar to the car Wittmann drove.

Also featured on the car will be Wittmann’s signature on the door sill as well as on the dash and a German sticker with “WIT” printed on the rear glass.

Only 23 units will be produced and there is currently no word on pricing yet.
