China is Set to Open the World’s Highest Glass Bottomed Bridge

China is working on building a glass bottom pedestrian bridge that will be the tallest, longest and probably scariest in the world.

The bridge is being designed by Tel Aviv based architectural firm Haim Dotan Ltd.

The bridge is set to hover an extremely high 300 meters above the ground, span 380 meters in length, and be 6 meters wide.

The bridge is being built in the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, the national park that inspired the floating mountains from James Cameron’s film “Avatar”.

The official opening for the bridge is set for October.
