Emirates is Going to Be Offering the World’s Longest Flight

Care to spend 17 hours and 35 minutes on a plane? I wouldn’t, but if you wish to, you soon can.

Emirates is going to be offering daily flights between Dubai and Panama City, the duration of the trip, when going west, takes a total of 17 hours and 35 minutes, making it the longest commercial flight in the world.

The flights are currently scheduled to begin on February 1, making Panama City the central destination for business traveled from the Middle East into South America and the Caribbean.

The flight is supposed to go over a total of 8,590 miles.

The previous longest flight in the world was from Dallas to Sydney which took 17 hours.
