Extremely Rare Ferrari Testarossa Spider is Expected to Fetch Up to $1 Million

The Ferrari Testarossa is a unique and special automobile in its own right, but the Ferrari Testarossa Spider is even more rare.

The Sultan of Brunei is reported to have ordered five off-the-record models from Ferrari, but the only other way to previously acquire a Ferrari Testarossa in convertible form, would be to buy the car, and send it to a custom shop to customize, sacrificing the true Ferrari recognition and heritage.

Well it turns out Fiat president Gianni Agnelli had one specially made for him.

Auction house Artcurial Motorcars have acquired the rights to auction this car.

The head of Ferrari’s owner when the Testarossa was made, Gianni Agnelli, secretly commissioned this gorgeous automobile.

The car is painted in silver, and have a unique white stowaway roof and sports a blue stripe above its black sills.

The 1986 Ferrari Testarossa Spider Ex Gianni Agnelli will go to auction at Retromobile 2016, which is to be held Febraury 3-7 at the Paris Expo center, where it is expected to sell between $750,000 and $1 million USD.
