How to Pitch A Shark on Shark Tank (By the Numbers)

ABC’s Shark Tank is a wonderful show, where people who have brilliant (or not so brilliant) business ideas show up and pitch billionaires for an investment and hopefully coaching from said billionaire(s).

Digital Exits analyzed all the episodes of Shark Tank across five seaons and worked out what goes into a successful pitch.

It also worked out other numbers including the amount of sales, average amount of equity, how often certain sharks bit on pitches, and what type of businesses got the most offers.
