Johnny Depp’s Private Village Near Saint Tropez is Up For Sale

Actor Johnny Depp has put up his 37-acre estate and private village in the south of France on sale.

The home in Plan de la Tour, near Saint Tropez (about 17 miles) includes a private “hameau” or a small Provencal village, featuring a main house, guest cottages, a chapel, a bar and restaurant, among other structures.

There are 12 bedrooms and 12 full bathrooms listed among more than 10,000 square feet of living space.

There is a hunter’s cabin, a painter’s studio, a children’s playroom and a gym.

Other features of the estate include vineyards, olive trees, a vegetable garden, fountains, and a large swimming pool surrounded by sand as well a smaller swimming pool and a skateboard area.

Depp bought the property back in 2001 and spent over $10 million to restore and decorate the homes one at a time.

The asking price is at $25.76 million, and the price includes furniture and some of Depp’s personal items, artwork, books and DVDs.

The property is being listed through Côte d’Azur Sotheby’s International Realty.
