Lamborghini Confirms The Production of Their SUV Model!

The Lamborghini Urus was originally teased at the Beijing Auto Show in April of 2012.

The luxury SUV is meant to compete against discerning customers who prefer luxury vehicles and is meant to go head to head with the likes of Bentley’s Bentayga.

The concept is based off the same platform as the Audi Q7, but is loaded with a ton of carbon fiber making it lighter than any of its brothers.

It is rumored that the SUV will be powered by a 5.2 liter turbocharged V10 engine.

While previously confirmed in 2013 by Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann, it had to pass through parent company Volkswagen/Audi’s approval, and now it is finally official.

It is expected to be the cheapest model in Lamborghini’s lineup and they expect to sell about 3000 units a year which is double of the company’s current sales figures.
