A Look at the Macallan 57 Lalique “Finest Cut” $15,000 Scotch

What makes the Macallan 57 Lalique “Finest Cut” unique aside from it’s $15,000 price tag? The limited edition decanter contains an exceptionally rare 57 year old single malt whisky from the famed Speyside distillery founded in 1824.

The third decanter in The Macallan in Lalique Six Pillars Collection takes its inspiration from The Macallan’s Finest Cut, that fraction of the new make spirit which is filled into casks for maturation. At The Macallan, this fraction is a mere 16%.

The whisky is not the only thing unique for this bottle, the decanter is designed exclusively for The Macallan by French crystal house Lalique, and each decanter will be individually numbered.

Only 72 of the 400 bottles sold worldwide will be available in the United States.
