This Map Shows the Drinking Age Around the World

The drinking age across the United States is 21, but in some countries you can drink as early as 16, and in certain countries there is no age where drinking is illegal.

Different countries vary in drinking age, while certain Middle Eastern countries have banned sales of alcohol altogether.

Most of Europe has an 18 year old drinking age, and it is worthwhile to note that Canada can be split, some provinces have a minimum age of 18, while others have the minimum drinking age set as 19.
