We’ve seen some creative ways to open a bottle before, from using a screw and pliers, scissors, to simply pushing the cork into the bottle.
Well Ronan Sayburn, a master sommelier, shows you how to use a feather to open a bottle of port.
He explains that sometimes the cork degrades over time on some classic bottles of wine, and that if a corkscrew is used, it will fall apart and crumble into the expensive wine.
The feather isn’t the only devices he uses, but it is quite interesting.
