Porsche and Veuve Clicquot Team Up for an Amazing Sleek Champagne Cellar

The Vertical Limit Champagne Cellar is one of the most interesting items listed for sale at Sotheby’s Finest and Rarest Wines, Spirits, and Vintage Ports auction which took place in London on October 21st.

The cellar is a limited one of fifteen piece, a freestanding champagne stand designed by the Porsche Design Studio and Veuve Clicquot.

Not only does the cellar look cool, it also acts like a refrigerator, housing twelve magnum sized bottles inside.

Locked inside the champagne’s cellar, some of the bottles are some of the best available from Veuve Clicquot, magnum Champagne flights from 1955, 1959, 1961, 1962, 1975, 1982, 1985, 1988 and 1990.

Each of the cellar’s compartments are illuminated in the label’s distinctive, Pantone 137c version of yellow, which makes for a beautiful view at night.
