Someone Ordered a Cake Worth $75 Million

British Designer Debbie Wingham was commissioned to bake and make the world’s most expensive cake valued at $75 million.

The cake is diamond studded and was made to mark her client’s birthday as well as engagement in the United Arab Emirates.

Studded with over 4,000 diamonds, the cake was six foot long and sculpted to resemble a catwalk, featuring gowns and outfits that resemble Ms. Wingham’s couture clothing as well as designer handbags, shoes, shades, smartphones and tablets.

The cake was dotted with edible pieces of small models walking on a ramp and spectators in the front row.

The cake weighed 450 kilograms, took over 1,100 hours to make, with 120 kilograms of fondant icing and 60 kilograms of modeling chocolate.

It also contained a 5.2 carat pink diamond, a 6.4 carat yellow diamond, and 15 individual five carat white diamonds as well as 4000 other stones including amethysts and emeralds.

The runway was lined with 473 white diamonds and 75 black diamonds.
