Tag Heuer and Google Team Up with a $1,500 Android Wear Watch

Tag Heuer recently unveiled the Connected Watch, a $1,500 Android smartwatch created in a partnership between the Swiss luxury brand company and tech giants Google and Intel.

The Tag Heuer Connected is the luxury brand’s first attempt to enter the smart watch sector.

The watch, which looks like and is inspired by Tag Heuer’s classic Carrera model, has a Intel chip inside (as opposed to the Qualcomm chips most current Android watches are made with).

The touchscreen is made of sapphire crystal, and the “all day” battery can be charged with a simple dock.

It includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and a microphone for voice commands.
