Take a Look at the Largest Private Bugatti Collection in the World
The largest private Bugatti collection is now up for viewing in California.
At the Mullin Automotive Museum, there is an exhibition now showing called The Art of Bugatti.
Peter Mullin, the museum’s founder and chairman owns the largest private collection of Bugattis in the world.
The display at the museum includes a 1936 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic Coupe, one of the rarest and most expensive cars available, to race winning Type 35s, 37, and 51, Jean Bugatti’s Type 64 Papillon, and if you like the newer models, the display also includes a Veyron and an EB110 Supersport.
The exhibit not only features the cars built and designed by Ettore and Jean Bugatti, there is also a plane, the Bugatti 100P, which was worked on by Ettore Bugatti and Belgian engineer Louis de Monge.
Also featured will be the design works and furniture of Carlo Bugatti, father to Ettore, and nearly two dozen pieces of sculpture from Rembrandt Bugatti, a renowned sculptor, known for working with bronze and creating animal sculptures, the silver elephant that sits on top of the radiator of the Bugatti Royale was cast from one of Rembrandt’s designs.
The museum recently extended the exhibit until March 31, 2015.
Tickets for Adults start at $15, seniors at $10, childrens 3-11 at $8, and children 2 and under are free, so is active military with ID, but please note that tickets have to be purchased in advance according to their website.
