The 3D Varius – The World’s First 3D Printed Electric Violin

The invention of designer and violinist Laurent Bernadac, the 3D Various is an amazing 3D printed violin.

The violin was printed in  one piece using the stereolithography method of 3D printing.

Printing an object able to hold the tension of a string for a properly tuned violin as well as provide the right acoustics needed to create a perfect instrument is truly impressive.

Based off the model of a real (and legendary) Stradivarius violin, his creation is not only beautiful but sounds amazing as well.
