There are headphones, and then there are HEADPHONES, these $40,000 headphones are for serious music aficionados (or the wealthy who just wish to splurge for the most luxurious headphones).

V-MODA, a 3D printed metals headphones company, is offering some of the most expensive and luxurious headphones around.

The brand is known for it’s high-fidelity sound, and is loved by celebrity DJs such as Avicii.

They’ve now taken their traditional laser-engraved shields to the next level by offering various new materials, including fiber, stainless steel, and raw, plated and precious metals like solid gold and platinum.

When you order your custom headphones, you choose a base color, shield material of choice, and a custom design or monogram.

Prices start at $430 for the sterling silver model, and goes up to $40,000 for the platinum version.
