The Blackphone 2 is Arriving in September with 100% Privacy

Silent Circle, privacy experts, have announced the launch of a Blackphone 2 for September 2015.

The phone is designed and built from the ground up to be private.

The original Blackphone was presented at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in 2014 and was on sale for $629, the original Blackphone was shipped with a 4.7 inch screen.

The new model, the second generation, will now have a larger 5.5 inch Gorilla Glass screen, and have a 1.7GHz octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, a 13MP camera, a micro SD slot, and a quick charge battery.

The security feature that makes the Blackphone 2 unique is Silent OS, an Android-based operating system enhanced to address mobile privacy concerns.

The operating system allows users to create different spaces that act like separate virtual phones on one device, compartmentalizing your personal and work life.

There are up to four different spaces that can be broken out any way you wish on the phone.

The phone also has settings that fine tune permissions for individual apps to allow the level of data access each app receives, and the phone ships preloaded with its own apps and third party apps that enable encrypted communication.
