Jaeger-LeCoultre unveiled the Master Ultra Thin Squelette watch, the world’s slimmest mechanical watch. Measuring at an extremely slim 3.6mm thick, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Squelette surpasses the record held previously by the Piaget Altiplano 900p which measured a 3.65mm thick. Even though it is thin, watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre hasn’t skimped on the watch, the timepiece comes with a skeletonized face and contains 19 jewels. The watch uses a hand-wound movement and the Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 849ASQ, which contains 119 components and has a power reserve of 33 hours. The watch is available in an 18k white or rose gold case that measures 38mm x 3.6mm or 4.7mm for the diamond set version. You have a choice with a black or brown alligator leather strap and gold pin buckles to match the watch. The watch is being made in a limited edition of 100 pieces in each finish (4 total in variety, pink gold, white gold, pink gold gem set, white gold gem set).
