The Limited Edition Umbrella Worth $8,000

Japanese based brand ‘visvim’ has spent six months crafting the most luxurious umbreall, with materials sourced from Paris.

The brand, founded by Hiroki Nakamura is known for their handcrafted and artisanal items that pay tribute to Americana.

The umbrella, called the Atelier Umbrella is included in the brand’s 2015 Autumn/Winter collection.

The umbrella is crafted from high-end materials including goat leather tanned with fish oil, while each of the ribs holding up the canopy are made from rattan cane tipped with brass. The handle/main shaft are created from beechwood, and the cotton fabric is woven by craftsmen in Okayama, Japan.
