The Playboy Mansion is Up for Sale for $200 Million

The famed Playboy Mansion has been put up for sale at a price of $200 million.

The mansion, famous for the owner Hugh Hefner, and the lavish parties Hefner threw during the years he resided there is actually owned by Playboy Enterprises.

The house is located in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles California, near to the famed Beverly Hills area.

The mansion sits on 5.3 acres of land, was built in 1927, and was bought by Hugh Hefner in 1971 for a price of $1.1 million.

The property has 22 rooms, a wine cellar, a screening room, and a game room.

As part of the deal, Hugh Hefner has a clause that he will be allowed to stay there until he passes away, and that prospective buyers will be able to tour the property except Hefner’s bedroom.

Real estate market speculation values the price of the property in the area at $60 million, the Playboy Mansion is valued at $80-90 million due to it’s unique reputation, but the $200 million asking price has raised some eyebrows.
