Using data compiled by the Airports Council International, the busiest airport in the world is Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport, they calculated total passengers enplaned and deplaned across all the airports in the world (while counting passengers in transit only once).

Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport by this count had 96,178,899 passengers pass through.

Second in line is Beijing Capital International Airport with 86,130,390 passengers passing through.
