The World’s Most Expensive Sandwich At $214

Serendipity 3 in New York is already known for their expensive famous Frrrozen Hot Chocolate, but they recently upped the bar by creating the world’s most expensive sandwich.

The restaurant decided on National Sandwich Day last year (November 3), that it would set off to create the world’s most expensive sandwich, and what better sandwich to turn into the world’s most expensive than a classic grilled cheese?

What is in the world’s most expensive sandwich?

The sandwich is created with French Pullman bread that is made with Dom Perignon champagne and 24 karat gold flakes.

The sandwich then gets a smear of white truffle spread before the cheese ingredient is added.

The cheese is a Caciocavallo Podolico cheese, and the sandwich is then grilled to perfection.

After being grilled, the sandwich edges are dipped in 23 karat gold leaf, and is served alongside a Baccarat crystal glass filled with lobster and tomato bisque.
