U2 Releases New Album Today! Free for Limited Time

U2 released its newest album today “Songs of Innocence”, and if you have iTunes or Beats Music, it is free to download for a limited time.

During the Apple event today on September 9, 2014, Tim Cook introduced U2 on stage, who went on and performed their newest song called “The Miracle (Of Joey Ramone)” from its brand-new album titled Songs of Innocence.

If you have an iTunes store account, it’ll show up today in 119 countries (or click the link at the bottom of this article) and it’ll be exclusive to iTunes and Beats Music through October 13th.

Anyone who signs up to the iTunes store in the next five weeks will also receive a copy as well.

U2 has history with Apple, starting when Apple released a limited edition U2 iPod at the same time as when the band released How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, Apple has also been a partner of Project Red, a charity founded by U2 frontman Bono since its inception in 2006.
