Watch the Islanders Break Down the Ice at the Nassau Coliseum for the Last Time

The New York Islanders had played their last game in the Nassau Coliseum, and intend to move to the Barclays Center (home of the Brooklyn Nets) starting next season.

The Nassau Coliseum was home to the New York Islanders since 1972, and the Islanders won four Stanley Cup championships in the arena.

But sadly the arena is in dire need of upgrades, and it seems like they may be getting it.

There are also rumors floating around that the Islanders may go back and play a few games at the newly renovated Nassau Coliseum, but the team is now tied into a lease with the Barclays Center located in Brooklyn.

In a sad time-lapse captured by NHL and the team, you can watch them break down the ice for one last time at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
