Which U.S. City is the Most Expensive for Room Service?

40% of people have reported to have ordered room service while staying at a hotel, while only 13% have reported to have used the mini-bar.

Which city in the United States has the most expensive room service?

TripAdvisor announced the results of the 2014 TripIndex Room Service, a cost-comparison of common incidental items and services that many travelers will encounter when staying at a hotel.

If including dry cleaning (the cost of one shirt), Las Vegas leads the list with an average of $68.01, if just including food products (club sandwich from room service, a bottle of water, peanuts, a mini bottle of vodka and a can of soda from the mini bar), New York City leads the list at $55.83.

When staying in the United States, travelers can expect to spend about 22% more than common incidental hotel costs than in popular cities around the world.

The best deal in the United States comes from Denver ($41 including dry cleaning or around $32.9 with just food items).
