As part of a marketing effort to spread the news about the release of the 24th James Bond film, Spectre in DVD, Blue-ray and Digital HD, EON studios has contracted with Christies to auction of 24 items from the film on February 18th.
Among the memorabilia available for sale include a Omega Seamaster 300 watch worn by Daniel Craig as James Bond, Tom Ford ‘Snowdon’ sunglasses, also worn by Craig as Bond, and a laptop used by Ben Whishshaw as Q.
The highlight of the auction however, is the Aston Martin DB10 used in the film.
Aston Martin designed and engineered the DB10 specifically for Spectre, and while most of the cars were modified for filming, the producers kept two as show cars for display purposes.
Now one of the two display cars are up for auction.
This is the only car to date that has been released for public sale by Aston Martin and EON Productions.
The unique Aston Martin DB10 is expected to fetch between $1,427,000 and 2,140,000.
