You Can Buy Wikipedia in Print for $500,000 A Collection of 7,500+ Books

Artist Michael Mandiberg has created a print version of Wikipedia.

The project he called “From Aaaaa! to ZZZap!” was created as part of an art exhibition and was uploaded to website LuLu.com a self publication website.

The whole upload was expected to be 11 gigabytes worth of data, and contain 7,600 volumes.

Of the 7,600 volumes, the first 91 are dedicated to the Table of Contents which list the nearly 11.5 million articles, while the last 36 volumes contain all the 7.5 million contributors who worked on the project.

The whole project took about 3 years to complete, and the upload process took 24 days 3 hours and 18 minutes, completing on July 12, 2015.

All said and done it was over 5.4 million pages to get the whole thing down on print.

The whole collection is available for purchase through the Denny Gallery for $500,000, or if you wish to purchase select volumes, they are available for $80.00

You can search on Lulu.com for Mandiberg if you wish to purchase individual volumes.
