McLaren's Newest Car the 570S is Meant to Challenge Porsche Buyers - Contrarie
McLaren recently revealed the newest car in their line-up. The 570S Sport Series. The Sport Series is an entry level model from McLaren, seated below the 650S, and the flagship supercar the McLaren P1. The 570S is a mid-engine rear wheel drive car powered by a 3.8 liter V8 twin turbo and produces 562 horsepower. It will propel the car from 0-62 miles per hour in 3.2 seconds and reach 124 miles per hour in under 10 seconds (9.5 to be exact). The car will come with a seven speed seamless shift gearbox transmission, and come standard with carbon ceramic brakes. The car is rumored to start at around $180,000 to target the high end Porsche/BMW/Mercedes consumer types. From the pictures below the car is hot and we think it will be a great success:
