Mercedes Benz is celebrating their Formula 1 Championship success with a limited edition release of their SL63 AMG model. For the 2014 Formula One World Championship, Mercedes took home first place as a team, and Mercedes’ drivers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg took first place and second place respectively in the driver’s championship. The limited edition will be available in two colors, black as designed by Lewis Hamilton, and white as designed by Nico Rosberg. There will be 19 of each color produced with each of the 19 representing one of the 19 Formula One races. Each one of the 19 will have special floor mats that are hand-embroidered with the track from one of the nineteen races as well as a special engraved badge on the center console and key. These models will receive a slight power bump from the 5.5 liter twin-turbo V-8 engine that is going to produce 585 horsepower, compared from the standard U.S.-spec’s 577 horsepower.
