California activist investor David Batchelder listed his San Diego area ranch for $17.5 million.
The ranch is located in Santa Ysabel, about 30 miles east of San Diego.
The property sits on 720 acres of land with the main house measuring about 4,000 square feet and two guest houses that are around 2,700 and 1,130 square feet respectively.
On the property sits a massive 19 stall barn with associated amenities including a hotwalker to outdoor dressage riding arena.
There is also a go kart track on the property, two fishing ponds, a pool pond that holds 650,000 gallons of water (keeping in mind the average pool holds around 25,000-35,000 gallons), did we also mention there is a paintball arena and a skeet shooting range?
The property is currently listed with Bill McDavid of Hall and Hall and Eric Iantorno of Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty.
The property was purchased as raw land by Mr. Batchelder back in 2000 for $5 million and he set about building what he calls “a family fun compound”.
